Review of Unfriended (2014) by Megan S — 16 Jul 2017
The death scenes were kind of cheesy, but the overall theme of the movie was real enough to be chilling. Ultimately, I found it to be a very unsettling movie (in a good way?) that left me still thinking about it days afterward.
It is a movie about shame, betrayal and the role of technology in our most vulnerable moments. Overall, not a brilliant film, but a clever way of telling an all too familiar story.
