Review of Unforgiven (1992) by Austin K — 15 Mar 2011
"It's a hell of a thing killing a man." Unforgiven is unforgettable. Not only one of the best westerns ever, but one of the best movies ever in general. Eastwood is the last of a dying breed, and gives up many memorable scenes in this masterpiece.
The monologue before the films climax in simply amazing, and the support cast, especially Hackmans hardass sheriff performance, all deliver.
