Review of Unforgiven (1992) by Eric O — 13 Aug 2011
I can definitely see why it won so many awards, and I actually liked it pretty decent (which says a lot for my dislike of eastwood and westerns). 2 issues of critique: 1) if clint said "i guess (so)" one more time.
..i'm not sure I got what significance that had for his character. and 2) why must so many goddamned films put an american flag behind the main character when he does/says something climactic; eastwood did it at the end and it was terrible (i had flashbacks of spider man 3 horrors).
