Review of Unforgiven (1992) by Ricardo J — 31 Aug 2011
Easily one of the very best westerns of all time, Unforgiven stars Clint Eastwood as the main character (who also directs the film) and Morgan Freeman as his old partner; both go along very well with each other but surprisingly it was Gene Hackman that really stood out, doing a wonderful job on portraiting the short-tempered sheriff.
Though the soundtrack could be more epic, the magnificent story is compelling and will make you beg for more. In the end, Eastwood makes you think about what violence, killing someone, really is. If it isn't perfect, it surely is very close.
