Review of Unforgiven (1992) by James B — 04 Nov 2011
Dark, touching and effective. In his final western (at least as far as time period goes), Eastwood creates a hugely effective throwback but without the over-the-topness of his famed 'Man with no name' trilogy (Directed by Sergio Leone).
A perfect cast come together for a tightly shot film that feels like its only on for 30 minutes once the 2 hours pass. Great acting, direction and story.
