Review of Unforgiven (1992) by Rawand A — 09 May 2012
Best Picture winner for a Western since Dances With Wolves and rightfully so. It literally shatters the ideals and myths that we have been told by Westerns over the years and and makes us look at the effect of violence on men.
This is almost an anti-gun film with only few gunfights. Such is the strength of the despair that Eastwood takes his own character into.
