Review of Unforgiven (1992) by Ben R — 09 Sep 2013

I'm sorry to say but compared to the solid brilliant 60's and 70's westerns that Clint made,this one fell flat for me. This movie has been overhyped for so long that I developed a storyline in my head.

Then when I find out the main story is about how a prostitute got cut up and wants revenge? I thought it was going to be a tad bit more epic than that. Eastwood isn't even a hero in this till the last 20 minutes.

I really love most of Clint Eastwood's movies but this to me just doesn't live up to all the massive hype. Maybe I need to rewatch this with a different mindset but who knows.
