Review of Unforgiven (1992) by Trevor R — 06 Feb 2014
"Unforgiven" is an unsettling look at the lies at the heart of all Western myth. Clint Eastwood is probably the only person who could have properly played Munny, with his own history and presence enhancing the character beyond what's on the page.
This is also most certainly his finest work as a director. The ending is a real doozy. Shocking and powerful.
