Review of Unfaithful (2009) by Jason I — 30 Jan 2008
This movie was very passionate and dramatic, from environment and nature, to skin and flesh, colors and tones piqued the senses and lead to a good watch. The seduction of Diane Lane is somewhat unbelievable, as in no one would be tempted from a happy marriage as easily as she is in this film.
However, she does a great job of showing her torment and fear of both hiding her affair and it being discovered. Olivier plays the perfect seducer and Richard Gere does a very good job playing a trusting man who slowly realizes that his wife is cheating on him.
A great pace, passionate scenes, and hugely dramatic scenes made this movie a more-than-worthwhile viewing.
