Where do you go when you've gone too far?
Hot, thrilling, and sexy. Everything a person wants out of an affair. And what better person to have an affair with than with the steamy, dreamy, and extremely gorgeous Olivier Martinez?
Connie (Lane) is happily married to Edward (Gere), but all that changes when she meets Paul (Martinez). Although their first encounter seems to be purely innocent, but soon enough, Connie succumbs to Paul's irresistible charms and begins a steamy and tempestuous affair with the young man. Edward is growing suspicious of his wife, and when he learns of her affair, he quickly dispatches his "rival", thus making Connie uneasy of the sudden change in her relationship with her husband.
Fine performance by Lane and Gere, and I must say, Martinez is quite a find. Okay, so I drooled over him mostly, but still... :p~~~ Plus, after all these years, Gere looks damn fine. The entire film is about keeping and revealing secrets, and you keep wondering how Edward would react when he learns of his wife's infidelity. Interesting enough.
