Review of Unexpected (2015) by Joseph F — 21 Oct 2015
In Unexpected we're shown two Chicagoans living their everyday lives, only to be struck with news that will change them forever-they're pregnant. Despite being on opposite sides of the spectrum, a friendship is formed between teacher and student as they go through the stages together.
Thumbs up to Cobie Smulders and Gail Bean, who portray the aforementioned duo that makes this watchable. It won't be your favorite, but at the very least you'll enjoy this unexpected indie hit.
