Review of Undisputed III: Redemption (2010) by Michael J — 27 Jun 2010
The first Undisputed was an attempt at a crime/drama mixed with boxing. Suffice it to say, I didn't make it through the whole movie and thought it was quite horrible. Undisputed 2 replaced the lead actor, beefed up the fight scenes, and heavily borrowed every suspension of disbelief element that it could take from the Rocky franchise; and ended up with an entertaining film.
Undisputed 3 allows Scott Adkins to assume center stage and ups the fight scenes even more while boiling almost all of the story and character development out of the film. Is this bad? Not if you are looking for a movie with entertaining fight scenes.
Otherwise, you are looking in the wrong place.
