Review of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) by Chris V — 02 Feb 2014
Completely unnecessary prequel to the original Underworld film, so no Kate Beckinsale (boo!) - apart from a cameo at the very end - and no Scott Speedman (hooray!). Bill Nighy and Michael Sheen both revisit their roles as (respectively) Viktor and Lucian from the first film, but Rhona can't hold a candle to Kate Beckinsale.
The entire film is also very murly (in a lighting sense): at times, it's quite hard to make out what's actually going on, and who's attacking whom!
