Review of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) by Jeff S — 04 Dec 2011

Despite expectations, this film was actually pretty solid. The special effects were kinda off here and there, but overall the atmosphere and setting were good. The story was intriguing, despite the repetitious "He's captured.

He escaped! He's captured again. He escaped again! Oh wait, he's captured again.." well, you get the picture. Don't expect anything supernatural here (er, not literally), but Rise of the Lycans is still a well-rounded and enjoyable experience.
