Review of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) by Jeroen V — 01 Nov 2013

Firstly, this is a bloody good watch, emphasis on bloody, but this isn't a good film. Flawed to its core, it never takes itself seriously enough to matter and at times is high camp. Tells a story that was hinted at in the first film and does it fairly well.

Some weaker acting by some of the supporting cast and the lead female, who seems to live by the motto, if in doubt, pout, but it doesn't really affect the enjoyability of this gothic action film.
