More action, more violence, more gore and more of the sexy Kate Beckinsale! What more could you want? As a sequel, it does feel quite different from the first but its still pretty good. Just like any other sequel, it has less story and more action. The background history that it gave was very cool, helped you understand it all better. The only thing that got on my freaking nerves was the Marcus dude! Yea vampires can gain the memories from someone by sucking their blood, but Marcus could see like 50 years into the future just from one person... I was like wtf?! lol. But other than that, a fun-cool movie.

Kate Beckinsale is definetly a lot hotter in this film, so if you start to lose interest - you don't have to worry about that for long. The first film was a little bit cooler than this one, but they're both wicked! Overall, a cool, freaky, bloody-action adventure ride.
