None of the movies in the Underworld franchise, past or future, will ever live up to the original. But this one is pretty good too. I wish it wasn't quite so long, and it really didn't need all the over-the-top special effects and CGI.
But for the most part, this is an enjoyable film and a good companion for the first one.
