Review of Underworld: Evolution (2006) by Saban E — 03 Sep 2011

Underworld Evolution is a definite step-down from the original. While both feature an involved storyline, the first handled it well, the second makes a muddled mess of it. Character motivations become especially murky, which confuses the viewer and takes away from much of the enjoyment of the first one.

Still, it's visuals are still impressive, Beckinsale is still sexy, and the action is done competently enough to make it worthwhile, hopefully the upcoming sequel will make better use of its' potential.
