Review of Underworld: Awakening (2012) by Joe H — 06 Aug 2012
The controversy between vampires and Lycans assumes a more contemporary look of an action film, undermining the efforts of the producers of the prequels to make this film stand out from a row of similar films by its style.
The story this time incorporates the protagonist being captured and frozen in a world that's seemingly free from Vampires and Lycans, and then released to lead the police to her run-away daughter (a fruit of love with a Lycan who possesses the strengths of both).
When she, her daughter and her husband reunite, it turns out that it's not over yet, and all people, including police, are undercover Lycans whom they battle in the final fight. the fight may not be final, though.
