Okay... so apparently vampires have pretty much no special powers and no offensive or defensive strategies against lycan... they just stand in one spot shooting and get overtaken, attacked from the back.
.. Seems over the 1000+ years they have lived they would learn some fighting techniques. Pretty lame.
