Review of Underworld: Awakening (2012) by Rosbel G — 13 Oct 2012

This entry in the Underworld series benefits from the return of Kate Beckinsdale as Selene and from focusing on action rather than the series' self-serious comic book mythos. I've always liked this franchise, but I've always been somewhat disappointed by the films because they all had the potential to be great and are instead simply mediocre.

The action here is good, but lacks the style of the Len Wiseman directed installments, who directed the first two films. Overall, it's a good action flick, but it again left me feeling that it had the potential to be something a lot better.
