Review of Underworld: Awakening (2012) by Chandler M — 10 Oct 2012

It coulda been a contenda! But an over abundance of brooding and pure unadulterated sex appeal alone isn't enough, and without Scott Speedman's Michael in the mix, the film simply fizzled out. It could have at least been interesting, if other plot "angles" would have been explored, namely the mother/daughter dynamic.

But Selene is so busy sulking and emotionally constipated, that her daughter (like any semblance of plot)is summarily ignored.
