Review of Underworld (2003) by Angel J — 24 Nov 2010
This movie wasn't the best vampire/werewolf movie but it had a lot to offer. For starters, the premise of the story is pretty simple mixed with a love story. It doesn't have to go any deeper then that which I appreciate from the writers not making it more complex.
The special effects were awesome and the costumes and dress design really captured both worlds. Kate Beckinsale delivered a good vampire persona in her character and was pretty mean with a handgun. There were a lot of shortcomings to the film and at some points it did become a little dragged on and boring but other than that it was a good film.
Overall, this was a good vampire film but it should of learned from its predecessors.
