Review of Underworld (2003) by Gabe R — 13 Jul 2012
It reminds me of the matrix with a fantasy/gothic twist. The action is fast paced, violent, and over the top. The acting is suprisingly good, each character has a distinct personality. The story is engaging, perspective gradually shifts over the course of the film, and in the end, you may have changed which side you're rooting for.
I like the practical effects, unfortunatly it's not like we havn't seen werewolfs and vampires in the past, so the effects don't stick out as much as they should.
