Review of Underdog (2007) by Sarah W — 04 Aug 2008

Underdog is a surprisingly delightful movie. I wasn't expecting much since movies made from cartoons aren't exactly cinematic wonders, but Underdog is.

There are plenty of places where the plot becomes more unbelievable than a talking dog with super-powers, such as a teenaged girl and her dog are able to sneak into a government building (through a door) that is surrounded by a S.W.A.T team? Or that same team doesn't notice a beagle running through them until it's too late? Puh-leeze!

But the action is fun and the dialogue is Disney. Lots of laughs.
