Review of Under the Tuscan Sun (2003) by Danny C — 16 Mar 2008
This is a very up and down film and for the writter she like many writers get lost in the second act of the film. though the film has many wonderfull aspects such as the picture perfect postcard images of itally as well as reminding us how beautifull the italian culture is, it is a film that has little to no plot structure at all.
though it has the wonderfull message that true love waits, one cannot get past the fact that the entire film is a woman running away from her problems and rebounding in europe while he desperatly tries to get over her ex husband.
im sorry this film has far too much hopeless romantic in it even for a hopeless romantic like myself.
