Review of Under the Tuscan Sun (2003) by Alina N — 03 May 2008

This is quite a wonderful movie...it's been one of my favorites ever since my mom insisted on watching it and I decided to keep her company. the images are beautiful, the characters are complex without being too artsy-fartsy, the dialogue is realistic, and it's got a gentle humor to it that leaves you smiling and saying "awww".

i've watched it when i'm depressed, i've watched it when i'm happy, and no matter what, I come away from it saying "can I be frances?" the trailers and promos give it a terrible rap.

this is a really nice movie.
