Review of Under the Tuscan Sun (2003) by Joana L — 28 Jan 2010
This movie had a lot of potential, but I didn't really like the characters enough to be invested in the outcome. I felt Diane Lane's characters was extremely foolish and naive, and I also didn't care much for the liberal slants.
I still applaud the bold decision to start over again in a whole new place, as it takes guts and we all like to see people prove that it can be done. That aspect of the film was most inspiring to me.
