Review of Under the Tuscan Sun (2003) by Sean W — 16 Jun 2010
I'm clearly not the audience for this movie, but I'll be damned if my philosophy of "every movie deserves a shot" didn't keep me from watching. After a shattered divorce, a woman buys a house in Tuscany.
Will she learn about herself? Will there be eccentric characters and maybe a fling? Will it have a happy ending? The answer to these question is obvious, because that's what kind of movie this is.
Roger Ebert referred to this movie as, "Yuppie porn." I'll go a step further and call it, "Boring yuppie porn.".
