Review of Under the Tuscan Sun (2003) by Fady G — 22 Nov 2011
Before writing this review, I took notice that the film was made in 2003 taking in consideration Cinematographic technology back then.
First of all I should say that movie wasn't a cliche, I mean it would be so if she continued her relationship with Marcello, but giving the fact that she didn't -due to a specific reason-, that gave the movie extra interests. Its not like most of movies when the woman finds a lover after 30min of its beginning and then they have a fight to end up by a love scene instead of that she found it in the last 5 min. Im sure many people thought that she's gonna stay with her neighbor but that didn't happen. As for the performances, specifically talking about Diane's it was tremendous. Cinematography it could be better, specially the obvious chroma..In general it was a nice, interesting movie.
