Review of Under the Tuscan Sun (2003) by C J — 08 Sep 2012
Similar to the ever popular movie, "Eat Pray Love" this film also centers around a recently divorced woman rediscovering herself while she is in the process of reshaping her life. However, unlike "Eat Pray Love," Frances eats little, prays even less and loves everybody freely.
This film made me hungry. Cuz I kept picturing myself in Tuscany and I wanted to find some authentic food. But I digress. It's a great story that teaches two powerful lessons: (1) We are the hero of our own story and (2) sometimes the best question you can ask yourself is "What am I doing on a gay tour in Tuscany?" Cheers!
