Review of Under the Shadow (2016) by Joseph S — 01 Feb 2017
They ways in which this film weaves themes and characterization with an earnest look into the Iran-Iraq war is nothing short of fantastic. It's able to portray its message within the confines of a single residence, all the while maintaining the horror and suspense, is done so well with a beat akin to Rosemary's Baby.
What an accomplishment.
