Review of Under the Sand (2001) by Wim S — 12 Aug 2008
With a clever mix of reality, dreams and imagination, François Ozon shows the mourning proces of a woman whose husband went missing after taking a swim in the ocean. Powerful, understated, it pulls all the right strings and the effect of the movie still lingers in my mind.
