Review of Under the Same Moon (2007) by Sv G — 26 Jan 2009
Adrian Alsonso plays a 9 yr old boy who illegally crosses the border in search for his mother. He delivers on his perforance and his mother played by Kate del Castillo does as well. The only reference he has in how to find her when he arrives in East LA is the description of the corner where his mother calls him from the same pay-phone every Sunday.
The characters he meets along the way (both good and bad) are engaging and the story though heart-wrenching was a good one.
