Review of Under the Same Moon (2007) by Flora L — 14 Sep 2008
Most of the parts seems too superfical..
To make the audience feel more touching and tense, the director can deeply describe most of the parts like the death of grandma, the private car checked by US immigration, Carlitos arrested by the money-oriented guy and the feeling of Rosario towards Carlitos, etc..
But, at the end, the close-up shooting at Carlitos and Rosario is the best one...shooting can truely describe their feelings at that moment..without any wording.
