A beautiful immigrant story about a mother and son reuniting in the US. The characters are very real--some courageous and redeemed. While it's meant to exaggerate to attract Hollywood, the essence of the movie is true.
I think that some who are not familiar with the issues might not identify with the movie. Moms might understand it a little better.
