BEST. I own it and have seen it atleast 7 times, and I have cried everytime I've watched it, but it's actually not a depressing film. There are some really funny parts but not cheesy-funny. The actors are amazing.
Adrian Alonso is absolutely adorable. The movie is really well-written. It's so versitile, you could see it with anyone. It's appropriate enough to see with your grandmother but it's never bland.
Sure there are mature themes, like drug adiction, but everything is done with a lot of class. All ages will love this movie. I was 17 when I first watched it, with my 80+ year old grandmother. My 11 year old brother loved it.
My middle-aged parents loved it. My spanish teacher. My friends. Everyone! This is by far my favorite movie!
