Review of Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995) by Daniel F — 19 Dec 2007
In this fun but slightly inferior sequel to the surprise hit Under Siege (1992), Steven Seagal returns as Casey Ryback, who is with his niece (Katherine Heigl) trying to rebond after several years of no communication.
They go on a train journey together but, you guessed it, the train is seized by terrorists who use it to control the Grazier One laser satellite in orbit to threaten the US and the world. The pace never lets up, and the film's fun, although some of the special effects and matte usage are not very well done even for a film of its time.
