Review of Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995) by Christopher S — 12 Feb 2012
First of all, this film should have never been produced. Of course during the 1990s, Steven Seagal was still taken somewhat seriously as an actor, which shocks me because no one will ever confuse Seagal for James Stewart or Jack Nicholson.
The premise of the story had some potential but really it was the first film all over again, except this time it was on a train. A crazed guy with an ax to grind against the government, who has control of a powerful weapon, who wants a lot of money, and Seagal singlehandedly has to stop him? Yes, the first Under Siege was not that great.
Katherine Heigl was very beautiful but she could not carry this film either. Not worth seeing at all unless you really love bad films.
