Review of Under Siege (1992) by Tom S — 28 Feb 2010
The star of this film is nominally Steven Seagal, but for me it is really the USS Missouri. The Iowa Class Battleships are just SO cool, especially when kitted out with all the extra kit like Cruise Missiles and Vulcan Phalanx guns Reagan lavished on them when he needed to waste a bit of cash.
Anyway, in the actual plot, Seagal spends 2 hours killing a cast of brilliant pantomine villains (led by an excellent Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Bussey) in highly entertaining ways.
