One note performance, and basically one thematic idea, repeated over and over again. Completely lacking in dark humor, due in part to the fact there were no likable or sympathetic characters. Sandler may be a good actor, but he certainly wasn't able to demonstrate it with this character and this direction.

If you like watching Adam Sandler frenetically shout for two and a half hours, then this is the movie for you. Just bring ear plugs.
