Review of Unconditional (2012) by Barb S — 24 Mar 2013
Wonderful, real-feeling film with beautiful cinematography and a gripping story. The end is revealed in the last few minutes and was not telegraphed. One of my few gripes... too many tear-inducing "still" scenes tagged onto the finale.
Two or three might have been OK but half a dozen? But seeing clips on the DVD "Extras" of the real Papa Joe was worth the price of the DVD. Yeah, you could tell it was done on a limited budget, but it didn't matter to either of us.
This subtlety faith based movie affected us deeply.
