Not nearly as fresh and entertaining as the Youtube videos that preceded it. They were presented in real parks with real fans being surprised by Uncle Drew's abilities. This Hollywood production is not the same.
There are some laughs but not come from Lil Rel. He is on the screen more than any of the ballplayers including Kyrie irving. The climax does not even try to faithfully create a close basketball game, it's just short cuts and montage of the ball going in.
All in all it's disappointing.
