Review of Uncle Buck (1989) by Jameson H — 01 Sep 2008
This movie, although a tad slow sometimes, is an occult classic. Every scene has at least one quotable line, and the little kids have adorable chemistry with John Candy. I would, however, warn all that the humor in this movie is a lot like Raising Arizona.
Sometimes you aren't sure if what you saw should be funny, and if it was, you don't realize it until a second time. A must see, even if it is just to say that you saw it.
