Review of Uncle Buck (1989) by Steven L — 07 Aug 2009
John Candy at his best. This movie has a lot of funny moments, especially one towards the end when he knocks all the pots and pans off the ceiling. Sounds pretty basic, but Candy's reaction to it is hilarious.
This movie has solid performances from everyone, including a young Macaulay Culkin just 1 year before doing "Home Alone", I've read it was his performance in this movie that made John Hughes want him to be the star of "Home Alone".
