Just watched this movie for the first time. I loved every other John Hughes film I've watched so figured that this one would not disappoint. For the most part, it didn't.
The movie actually starts better than it finishes. The problem with most 70s-80s comedies is they tend to drag on in the serious parts. If it could have wrapped everything up in a 1 minute soliloquy with sappy music a la full house, I would have given it a much higher score. That being said, there were many times that I laughed out loud and would certainly recommend this to my friends.
