Review of Uncle Buck (1989) by Corey S — 26 Aug 2018
While flipping threw the channels I came across Uncle Buck and I realized that I haven't seen this movie in over 25 years easy so I decided to watch. Uncle Buck is a pretty good movie and has more then its share of laughs.
John Candy(R.I.P) is the only guy right for this role . You needed a big guy who can be a fun loving clown but if he needs to use his size against danger this role was perfect for John Candy. I enjoyed the plot it was simple but for this type of movie you didn't a complex plot you just needed this plot to be simple no twists just a down to earth silly movie about a big wild uncle who comes to baby sit.
The 80's provided alot of these types of comedy movies and while uncle Buck might not be the best it still holds its own. So If you never seen this movie Its worth watching John Candy provides the entertainment.
