Review of Unbroken (2014) by Hank S — 09 Mar 2015

There is something about Jolie's personality that would make me think she wouldn't make such a Hollywood film. "Unbroken" made me wonder if shes trying to make a feel good big box office Spielberg type movie.

Its very mediocrely told but maybe a story like this should be. The opening bomber sequence is really well done, I wanted to be in that plane so bad. All this movie needed to be elevated from average to great would be to take 2 or 3 chances but it doesn't.

I still see some potential for Jolie but shes not there yet. Jack O'connel and Domhnall Gleeson were great.
