I'm typically not a huge Jolie fan....but I think she hit the mark with this one. Critics didn't like because wasn't full of blood, explosions, foul language, and unnecessary violence. Well hello! That's part of what makes it such a good movie.....realism. Heaven forbid todays moviegoer should see anything that actually resembles/represents truth.
I read the book first and there was a lot that didn't make it from the book to the movie...but there isn't a way to pack it all in there and make it tolerable. It would have to be a mini-series.
