Truly, this is a wonderful story of one man's perseverance and grit. However, as told by a yet undeveloped director in Jolie, the full power of the message does not wholely translate to the screen.
Could have been Oscar material under the helm of a more seasoned director. Still a worthwhile viewing for the history lesson, however.
